Samples of stuffed vertebrates such as mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians are placed in the museum's collections and for the most part come from the Reserve, found dead by staff and Rangers and where appropriate reported to the CFS for the discovery (in the case of animals CITES). Samples of invertebrates were collected in different environments that make up the reserve and its surroundings, from the environments of water (streams, rivers or pools of stagnant water), to environments of grassland and wood (pine or deciduous forests), and in other areas of the province of Viterbo (Bolsena, San Lorenzo Nuovo, Mezzano Lake, Bisenzio Lake, Valentia |
