ProvenanceThe collection, found in 1883 at the "Institute of Zoology" by Antonio Carruccio, was extended by himself with the help of private collectors and purchased of private collections. From 1914 to 1932 the collection remained in a semi-abandoned state. In the 1932 it was transferred to the current "Museo Civico di Zoologia di Roma", where it is today
