Description for specialistsThe collection consists of 245 samples collected for educational and informative, as follows: 70 samples of minerals and rocks, mainly of sedimentary and igneous origin, divided by origin, samples were collected, on the occasion of projects research by staff of the Museo del Fiore, from 2000 to 2005, 160 samples of fossil marine molluscs belonging to the classes Gastropoda, Bivalvia and the Scafopodi, divided according to geographical origin, in 3 groups. Were acquired by the Museum for donations or material found in storage at the Town Hall, 15 samples of fossils of animals and plants of various origins and ages, part of a collection purchased for educational
