The major holdings originated from the "Giorgio Macchi" collection, integrated with many specimens from "Heikertinger" and "Zigeuner" collections.
The formation period of the collection starts since 1920-1930 to nowadays.
Collection: physical curation complete, individual specimen label data captured. The collection extents about 5076 specimens. The list of species is inserted in digital file.
